FlashForward Cancelled

Looks like ABC saw the future and it didn't include FlashForward. I can't say I'm surprised, but I am disappointed. The show had really hit it's stride post-hiatus and as it swells towards the climax of its first (and final) season, I've been fascinated to see how things would resolve themselves. Hopefully the writers had enough foresight to wrap up Season 1 in a pretty little bow.

Fans of the show can bemoan ABC's many perceived stumbles in marketing the show, but at the end of the day it doesn't much matter. So long FlashForward. I look forward to watching what is left.

Amidst a flurry of renewals tonight comes word from multiple sources that ABC has axed the Alyssa Milano-headlined freshman comedy Romantically Challenged. In less surprising news, the Alphabet net has also canceled Better Off Ted, Scrubs, and FlashForward. An ABC spokesperson had no comment.
